So I decided that I'm going to use this blog as a type of accountability. I'm going to do my best to post at least once a week of something creative, whether it be drawing, painting, charcoal or piano. It would be nice to sell some of my stuff eventually :)
I'll start with this charcoal that I did last week.

Also last week on my days off I mostly just practiced...I recorded myself to kind of give myself a goal of re-memorizing this piece. I did it 3 years ago for a recital at Rollins.. and also I need to get it up to speed...but here it is for you :)

A New Beginning

I'm starting a new blog because I just couldn't see going back to the old one. It is my old life and I will leave it up, but I won't update it anymore.

I am trying to stop pleasing everyone else, and just try to draw closer to God...I am happy now.

I finally had my surgery after years of pain and I have a new face now...it has caused me to be so much less anxious and stressed.

I finally got up the guts to go through with this divorce, and I moved out of my ex husbands house at the beginning of december (also helped with the stress). I am also taking classes at Rollins again, I plan to be a music major but I still have to audition again in the fall...I am considering a writing minor as well.

It is my first time on my own ever and I am LOVING it. So, as you can see "A new life" is exactly what I'm beginning.
